Megan is a writer and comedian living in Brooklyn, New York. She grew up near Detroit, Michigan and attended Michigan State University. She is also a graduate of the Comedy Studies program at The Second City Theater in Chicago.
She has worked behind the scenes for various television shows including Late Night with Seth Meyers, Broad City, Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj, The Amber Ruffin Show and The Kids Tonight Show. She currently works as a creative manager for a media company as well as a script coordinator for
Saturday Night Live.
Megan has experience with sketch, standup, character work and comedic songwriting. She also worked as a teaching assistant for sketch writing at the People's Improv Theater. Her performance credits include the Second City Showcase Reptile Dysfunction, the She Makes Me Laugh Festival and NYC SketchFest 2019. She also co-wrote and co-starred in the two woman sketch show Table For Two.
You can find her satirical writing on sites such as The Belladonna Comedy and Little Old Lady Comedy. Her future aspirations include publishing a book of funny personal essays, meeting Taylor Swift and becoming a mother to a fur child with a food-related name.
Some fun facts about Megan?
She spent a summer studying forensic anthropology & human identification in London only to realize she did not actually want to be a forensic anthropologist. But now she knows a lot about bones AND she got to see the exterior of the house from The Parent Trap so it was worth it.
One time she met a girl name Megan Sour and it was the most awkward interaction she's ever had with another
Her first crush was Captain Von-Trapp from The Sound of Music
