Megan is a comedy writer living in Brooklyn, New York. She grew up near Detroit, Michigan and attended Michigan State University. She is also a graduate of the Comedy Studies program at The Second City in Chicago.


She has worked in various behind the scenes roles for television including Late Night with Seth Meyers, Broad City, Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj, The Misery Index and The Kids Tonight Show . She currently works as a photo researcher for The Amber Ruffin Show as well as a freelance script coordinator for Saturday Night Live.


Megan has experience with sketch writing, standup, character work and comedic songwriting. She has worked as a teaching assistant for sketch writing at the People's Improv Theater. Her performance credits include the Second City Showcase Reptile Dysfunction, the She Makes Me Laugh Festival and NYC SketchFest 2019. She also co-wrote and co-starred in the two woman sketch show Table For Two.


You can find her satirical writing on sites such as The Belladonna Comedy and Little Old Lady Comedy. Her future aspirations include writing jokes for TV, meeting Julie Andrews and becoming a dog mom to a corgi named Nacho.

-Her first crush was Captain Von-Trapp from The Sound of Music


-She once met someone named Megan Sour and it was the most awkward interaction she’s had with another human


-In 2016 she spilled multiple coffees while in an elevator with Martin Short and she thinks about it every day

-A guy once tried to serenade her with the song “Brown Eyed Girl.” Her eyes are green.

-She’s gotten the stomach flu at Disney World three times

-When she was six years old she refused to take off her Wizard of Oz Dorothy costume and she did unfortunately end up wearing it to her great grandmothers funeral 

-She studied abroad but doesn't talk about it that much

-She can’t make French toast. She knows it’s not that hard, she just can’t do it.
